LG Announces the Mid-Range G4c

G4c

LG is under the habit of releasing mid-range smartphones under its flagship moniker and its latest offering is not much different. The widely-rumored G4c has finally been released now, with mid-range specs and a few features of the flagship for an alluring $275.

The display is a 5” panel, and comes with 720p resolution which is hardly inspiring now. The OS you run is Android 5.1 Lollipop with LG UX 4.0.

Underneath, you get a quad-core 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 410 processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. It is expandable via microSD card, though. You also get a duo of 8 and 5 megapixel cameras on the back and front respectively.

The design of the phone is inspired from the high-end G4 flagship, which should work in the junior smartphone’s favour. It also comes with a few useful tricks under its bag, mainly the Knock Code, Gesture Shot and Glance View software features. 4G LTE connectivity is also a plus point.

Still, there’s no denying that for the price, you get probably get a much, much better phone, that is of course, unless you’re not too keen on an aging star. Here are the specs of the LG G4c once again:
